RECAPPING 2015 #2 - Michael Bociurkiw

This week, our featured TEDx talk from TEDxUW 2015 is ‘Why life is all about REAL connections’ from Michael Bociurkiw.

Michael Bociurkiw is a Canadian-born writer, communications professional, and humanitarian. He has worked with a variety of organizations, including UNICEF, WHO and the OSCE in order to help spread their messages and generate fundraising. His work has been published in the LA Times, Forbes, Huffington Post and CNN.com.

In this talk, Michael discusses a great paradox of our time: despite becoming increasingly connected, there are not enough meaningful interpersonal interactions taking place. In this eye-opening talk, Michael stresses the importance of forming strong interpersonal connections, and shows us the lessons we can learn from children, to rebels who are continually challenging the ways we communicate.
