What's TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Each TEDx event features live speakers fearlessly presenting their ideas to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x means it is an independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for TEDxUW. However, it is a completely self-organized event. TEDx has become the place where you can discover leading edge thinking. For many attendees, the result is extraordinary insights, unexpected connections, and raw inspiration.

What's TED?

TED is a non-profit organization devoted to spreading ideas, more specifically, ideas that matter. In addition, TED represents a global community of curious souls who want to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TED and TEDx events around the world, all year long.
